Sea You In September!
Santa Barbara, California
It’s the only festival of its kind in Southern California – and one of only two on the west coast – showcasing handmade sea glass jewelry and ocean-themed art. The Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival features work created by dozens of talented artists from all across the country, bringing thousands of sea glass and beach enthusiasts to the renowned coastal jewel of Santa Barbara, California.
Held at the Elks Lodge #613, Santa Barbara the second weekend in September. This end of summer weekend event will also have educational presentations, workshops, exciting contests and some great giveaways.
Since giving back to the community is of utmost importance to the committee, a portion of proceeds from the Festival will go a local nonprofit. Our nonprofit for 2024 is the Channel Islands Marine & Wildlife Institute (CIMWI)

2023: Maui Wildfires - Direct Relief
Our committee enjoyed a tour of the amazing facility of @directrelief and learned in depth of the incredible work the nonprofit provides all over the world. At the conclusion of the tour, we presented Direct Relief— who we chose this year as our Giving Back Recipient— to support Maui Wildfires— with a donation. Thanks to all of you who made donations at the Festival and online and all who attended as this made this donation possible!

In light of the recent Holiday Fire, The Santa Barbara Sea Glass & Ocean Arts Festival Committee awards the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network with $1,000.00 to assist with the impacts of their evacuation and provide them with extra funds to treat animals injured in the fire.
